Best Coast - "Baby I'm Crying"
Southern California based Best Coast offers up this soulful ballad from their latest Fade Away EP. A wonderful contrast to their more guitar pop tunes, this track reveals a sweet vulnerability and further fleshes out this band.
A LiveAudio recording, this session was captured with a binauarl microphones set up for an immersive 360 degree field of sound. Developed to provide listeners with a more authentic live sound experience, the microphones are built into the heads of human dummies and factor in the way sound travels at different rates of speed to each ear. The result is a three-dementional sound best experienced through head phones of a Jambox speaker and offers the audience a true audio picture.

Tuesday Double Feature: Bleached "Love Spells" & Best Coast "I Don't Know How"
As the gray cold of late fall descends upon us, we all cling tightly to the fading dreams of summers. So this week's installment of the Tuesday Double Feature has videos by two bands whose sound embodies California's endless summer. So put on your earphones and let their warm musical zephyrs wash over you.
Bleached - "Love Spells"
With punkins rotting away on porches and the kids just beginning to crash from their candy sugar-highs this video from LA based sister act Bleached, is perfect. Finishing up a short European tour in support of their latest album Ride Your Heart, these girls have a little R and R ahead of them before setting sail with the Weezer cruise in February 2014.
Best Coast - "I Don't Know How"
The sun-kissed California band Best Coast have been bustling with activity. Having recently released their mini-album Fade Away on their own Jewel City Label this band isn't slowing down one bit. Currently writing material for their next album with a goal of a spring release and gearing up for a short winter tour with The Pixies, this band is taking every advantage of the wave of momentum they're currently riding. Make sure you catch them at the Schnitzer Auditorium when they play with The Pixies Wednesday, February 19th.

Cure for the Mondays: Best Coast - "The Only Place"
Best Coast - "The Only Place"
Summertime dreams for the better weather.
The Southern California duo Best Coast have been in a perpetual state of movement since their 2010 debut release of Crazy For You. With the highly praised follow up album The Only Place in 2012 and endless touring including a recent stent with Green Day, they continue to build an amazingly faithful fan base. In their continuous mission to spread their infectious energy this spring and summer hold a headlining tour and the release of an EP with all new material. Right now they don't have any shows scheduled in the NW but we can only hope that the summer months might still hold a show for us.
