Cure for the Mondays: Mike Elrington - Build You Up (To Cut You Down)

Mike Elrington - "Build You Up (To Cut You Down)"

Nothing says Monday like a angry half naked man singing the blues.

The primal grittiness of Mike Elrington's bluesy rock 'n' roll is raw with emotions. Quickly gaining recognition as one of Australia's most thrilling young artists Elrington sets himself apart with is dynamic guitar playing and boldly human songwriting. Released yesterday "Build You Up (To Cut You Down)" is the first single from his forthcoming album Two Lucky Stars set for release later this year. In it, Mike sings of the hard road of the struggling musician filled with it's endless potholes and frustrating detours. A reality much too familiar for too many young musicians.
February kept Eleington's busy with his first ever UK Tour, and with any luck we might get to see him in the states sometime soon.
